Continuing the legacy of the thirteen WWER Fuel conferences (1994–2019), this new scientific forum — organized by the Institute for Nuclear Research and Nuclear Energy of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (INRNE-BAS), and sponsored by Framatome, Westinghouse, and Kozloduy NPP — brings together leading experts from around the world. The conference offers a platform for sharing insights on fuel performance and modelling, bridging academic research, industry, and operational experience. Experts from NPPs, reactor designers, regulators, and suppliers will discuss the latest advancements in LWR fuel technology. It also creates opportunities for young researchers to connect with world-class professionals, supporting the future of safe and reliable nuclear energy.
